PERSONAL GAMMA RADIATION MONITORS

SUR – 1, SUR – 2 are light weight, pocket size, continuous warning devices that indicate to the user if he enters to an area where radiation level is higher than background. They can be used as personal gamma radiation monitor or as a room monitor in home, in laboratories or in any environment where the radiation level can change. These monitors are not sensitive to electrical noise and they will not jam even in high radiation field.

SUR-1

SUR-1 responds to radiation by giving a short audible beep, whose repetition rate increases in proportion to the increasing radiation field.

SUR-2

SUR-2 has three-range LED indicators which display the increase and decrease of gamma radiation level. The lighting LEDs are indicating the radiation level which was exceeded. When the radiation drops below the indicated level the LED goes out. The green LED continuously indicates the background radiation in pulse mode giving also a visual proof that the unit is functioning. An audible alarm is set to the third level. The alarm stops automatically if the radiation drops below the preset value.
