The regular quality control of the X-ray
machines plays an important role in the reduction of radiation exposure of the patients.
The exposure time, the dose rate and the homogeneity factor are
displayed on an 8 character alpha-numeric display.
By measuring these parameters the ageing of the X-ray tubes
and the validity of the adjusted parameters can be tested.
